Medicare Basics 2012
This video series was developed to simplify the 4 basic parts of Medicare (A, B, C, and D) to help make your Medicare choices easier. The information for the series is taken directly from the official U.S. Government Medicare handbook Medicare & You 2012, and was reviewed for accuracy by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS Region VIII). We have posted downloadable PDF’s of the handbook and other Medicare publications referenced in the videos for further reference. The first 7 programs cover the Medicare basics and are titled; Part 1 Medicare Overview, Part 2 Eligibility & Enrollment, Part 3 Medicare Parts A & B, Part 4 Choosing a Medicare Plan, Part 5 Medigap & Advantage Plans, Part 6 Medicare Part D, Part 7 Your Medicare Rights. Two additional videos explain the Open Enrollment Period (OEP) and Special Enrollment Periods (SEP). The total running time for all videos is under 45 minutes.
